During World War II, thanks to his prodigious memory and his ability to decipher encrypted texts, Mike Rogan joins the Intelligence Section of the American Army, shortly after marrying Christine. Following the landing of American troops in France, Rogan is sent to Europe on a mission of deciphering messages. But by mistake, he falls along with Christine in the hands of the Gestapo to break into the Palace of Justice in Munich, where they will be subjected to extreme violence.
